Dana Johnson is an educator and artist in the Bay Area, with experience in solo vocal performance, choral singing, guitar, ukulele, and bass guitar. She has been playing guitar for over ten years, though her passions extend to many other instruments. She graduated from San Jose State University with a BA in Music Education, where she performed with all of the five choirs at SJSU, including the highest level auditioned choir, the Choraliers. Alongside music, Dana also teaches private and group classes in Ballroom, Modern, Latin, and Social dancing.
Her passions involve any expression of music, whether dancing to it, or creating it. Her personal teaching philosophy is that music should be accessible to anyone; and that anyone who wants to learn, given the appropriate time and guidance, can create music. Students can start their journey with music at any age, and she is always excited to help them on their way
