Nicholas Dold

Pianist Nicholas Dold has an active career performing regularly across the United States. He has been a featured artist for National Public Radio, Minnesota Public Radio, Chamber Music Silicon Valley, the Santa Cruz Baroque Festival, the Orchestral Institute of Napa Valley, The Ladies Musical Club of Seattle, and the University of Alaska – Fairbanks. 

He has served on the piano faculty at Santa Clara University since 2018 and the collaborative piano staff at San Francisco Conservatory of Music since 2013. He has been a presenter and judge for the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), the Music Teachers Association of California (MTAC), the California Association of Professional Music Teachers (CAPMT), and the United States Open Music Competition (USOMC) where he designed the staff pianist program as Director of Piano Accompanying.

He received his graduate and undergraduate degrees in piano performance at Indiana University.

He is delighted to be a part of the ATG community teaching his favorite age group: new and young pianists seeking to develop a strong technical foundation, musicianship skills, and performance confidence.
